UK Data Centre Locations
Hosting UK operate from two data centres out of the ten UK data centres across 8 locations, wholly owned and operated by our parent company, Iomart. These ten data centres are all connected to our own high speed, highly redundant dark fibre network that spans the UK.
So many other hosting companies claim to have their own datacentres but when you dig deep they only have equipment at another providers location. This matters, because owning and managing the infrastructure our services use means we're in direct control of the entire experience that our clients receive.
We have invested millions of pounds in building, equipping & operating 10 UK data centres, providing thousands of square metres of advanced data hall space in Glasgow, London, St Asaph, Gosport, Nottingham, Leicester, Maidenhead and Manchester all manned 24 x 7.
The benefit of our investment is clear – no legacy operations or practices which enables us to equip the facilities and guarantee power supplies to meet future computing demands and trends, including large scale virtualisation, distributed storage and multi-site disaster recovery options.
